I tweeted about this and then realized I wanted to say more…
Joe Bereta and Luke Barats, whose YouTube “channel” is one of the site’s most popular, are hilarious.

They were among the golden “chosen” to make the jump into television, in a deal with NBC Universal. A One-year deal valued in the low six figures, with an option for a second year was drafted in 2006.

The world of video both online and off can be crazy. As Heidi Klum says on her wildly successful tv show Project Runway “One day you are in and the next day…you’re out!” What’s great about Barats and Bereta is that they’re still producing quality projects online. They still have this enormous audience. They are finding ways to monetize the online medium. Some of you are new to video production but have always dreamed of making it big. Take a lesson from these guys. Big isn’t a destination, it’s a journey…
