Welcome back!
So I was driving home from this great event where I got to hear Mari Smith, Nancy Marmolejo, Deborah Micek, Denise Wakeman and Simon Leung speak. I’m on fire! So much info. So many changes to make to my blog, my business model, my social media plan… etc. How in the world am I going to do it? I look up and there it is…a HUGE ad of James Bond in Quantum Solace. Daniel Craig and Olga Kurylenko are emerging from some sort of bomb wreckage, in tact and sexier than ever. OK. It’s Hollywood but bear with me as I share with you my source of inspiration…
James Bond 007 is a fictional character created in 1953 by writer Ian Fleming. I’ve been watching 007 since I can remember. Who was the best Bond? That question could easily take me into another post altogether. So, let’s stick to the basics regarding how to take on business challenges… BOND style.
#1. James is a bad a**. He’s smart and fearless. Yes it’s a crisis! If it weren’t they’d call the frickin police. By the time 007 is called in there are MAJOR problems. When we look at the issues in our businesses, we have to look at the potentially FATAL weaknesses and go in to make changes with fearlessness. In acting, we call this COMMITMENT. We make a choice and go for it. We may need to modify that choice but at least we’re confident we can make one.
#2. Unfortunately, just like in Bonds world, not everyone can be trusted. We will often run into people who will lie, steal our ideas or just be plain HATERS. We must find our confidants. We might be tempted to question and go against the wisdom of one so we find two or three people that we know we can trust to tell us the truth and have our back.
#3. Finally. Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore,Timothy Dalton,Pierce Brosnan and now Daniel Craig have all been Bond. These actors were chosen to play the role based on their abilities to portray the same super cool spy in their own way. They were responsible for the representation of the 007 Brand.
As entrepreneurs we are responsible for our BRAND. Our STORY is our brand. Every thing we do from our products, to our customer service to our youtube videos needs to tell that same story. There may be many people with the same types of products and or services, software or equipment…but our STORY belongs to us.
I am determined to represent my brand with truth and fearlessness. I am determined to make changes that will keep me competitive and still organically Angel.
Sooo if you see me emerging from the rubble of this econmomic crash (or so I keep hearing on the news) WATCH OUT! I’m comin out SMOKIN!

In my opinion Sean Connery was the best. I thought you’d get a kick out of this blog http://www.jamesbond007blog.com/
BTW: That’s a smokin’ picture.

Great ideas here! What I ‘hear’ is being authentic within a theme–oo7 theme. Play it your way. Life is FUN, people. Really, really fun. Huge, worldwide opportunities to play any part. Wahoooo……You go Smokin Angel!
